WESTERN REGIONAL COUNTERDRUG TRAINING CENTER
Western Regional Counterdrug Training Center (WRCTC) is part of a Department of Defense-funded program that provides military-unique training to law enforcement agencies, community-based organizations, and military personnel to thwart the supply and demand for illicit narcotics and to combat transnational organized crime. Through in-residence and mobile training team format, WRCTC seeks to increase the effectiveness of our law enforcement partners by deriving military subject matter expertise that is applicable law enforcement professionals. This tailored and highly-customized content delivered by military personnel and civilian subject matter experts with law enforcement experience addresses a growing capabilities gap to combat the most pressing counterdrug challenges facing the nation. WRCTC has proven highly capable in delivering valuable training to fight domestic and transnational drug trafficking organizations that threaten public safety and national security and is looking forward to the opportunity of providing the same type of training to your agency.
WRCTC is one of five National Guard Counterdrug Training Centers that offers tuition-free training throughout the United States.
WRCTC delivers counternarcotics training to federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies, as well as community-based organizations, and military personnel in order to enable them to disrupt, degrade, and defeat drug trafficking organizations and transnational criminal organizations that threaten United States national security interests and the public safety of United States citizens.
WRCTC delivers a comprehensive counterdrug curriculum that tailors military expertise resident within the Washington National Guard to counterdrug requirements not readily available to law enforcement agencies. As a training institution, WRCTC strives to provide departments and agencies a common framework to disrupt and dismantle transnational criminal organizations, interdict the flow of illegal drugs, combat trafficking, and to reduce the influence of drug-related activities in our communities and around the world.
